Principal’s Points
Thank you to everyone in the Jefferson community who has helped make this year a success. We have lots to celebrate as our students have been busy learning. They are currently involved in understanding the scientific process as they create STEM projects for our fair on May 9th. The school has been filled with worms, crayfish and plants to name a few as students have observed changes in all. Please stop by during the afternoon on May 9th.
Rest assured that a committee of district folks will be guiding us through a decision making process to decide the future of Jefferson. I will keep you posted on meetings that will occur next year to get your input. As the principal, I will keep your child’s best interest in mind as we move forward. The best thing you can do is to be present at these meetings to voice your concerns.
I hope all of you have a wonderful summer. Please keep your child(ren) reading and journal writing throughout as it is the best tool to keep all from regressing and moving forward.
I appreciate all of you and am sad to see many of our family’s transition to other places but know your children are prepared for the journey. You have kind kids and I wish all of you well.

Enrollment is Open
If you are returning, please enroll your child(ren) for the 2018-2019 school year. Skyward is open and you can either complete it at home or our secretaries would be glad to assist you at Jefferson. Drop by or give the office a call with more information. It will help us greatly as we plan our classrooms for your children.
Lost and Found
A table will be set up in the gym with all of the items children have lost this year. Please take time to look as we will be giving all leftover items away in June. Thank you.
